Graduate Medical Education and Residency Programs at Tidelands Health

The purpose of the department of Graduate Medical Education (GME) at Tidelands Health is to provide a structured framework for all the residency educational programs and to assure proper guidance and supervision for all Tidelands Health resident physicians. Our goal is to facilitate the residents' professional and personal development while fostering an environment of innovation, collaboration, and humanism.

At Tidelands Health, residents are taught and modeled ways to provide professional and high quality care while maintaining compliance standards in accordance with the national Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education. In addition to providing exceptional care, resident physicians are provided opportunities to excel in community service, teaching, and scholarly activities. The GME department at Tidelands Health strives to maintain its reputation as a nationally esteemed and recognized GME institution through continuous improvement and teamwork.
