The Tidelands Region

Living in the Tidelands Region

Regardless of the Tidelands Health location where you work, the sandy beaches of the Atlantic are never far away.

Our region includes the tourist mecca of Myrtle Beach and the quiet, relaxed living of smaller communities along the coast of Horry and Georgetown counties.

After a fulfilling day at Tidelands Health, you can relax at one of nearly 100 golf courses, browse interesting shops and galleries, enjoy fresh seafood and a great meal at fun-loving restaurants, cruise down Ocean Boulevard in Myrtle Beach and take in the night life - or take off on a boat in the inlets, rivers, bays or the open sea.

With a warm climate and welcoming culture, the quality of life in our region is among the best in the country.

Working at Tidelands Health

Tidelands Health is our region’s largest network of health care experts – working side by side not just to treat disease but also to prevent it. We celebrate diversity and a culture of transparency and fairness, and our health system has been repeatedly recognized as a progressive, forward-thinking employer both locally and nationally. Working at Tidelands Health isn’t just a job – it’s an opportunity to change lives and follow your dreams in one of the most beautiful and vibrant areas of the country.

Tidelands Health was recently named one of the top places to work in health care - joining organizations such as Mayo Clinic, John Hopkins Medicine and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. And, with more than 200 days of sunshine every year, Myrtle Beach is also one of the top places to live in the U.S.
