Why should I download the My Tidelands Health app?

The My Tidelands Health app featuring MyChart provides streamlined access to Tidelands Health resources to help you manage your health care in one convenient place. You can find a physician, schedule an appointment, get turn-by-turn driving directions to our locations, request a prescription refill, access your medical records, search available jobs at our health system and so much more.

I have a MyChart account through MUSC Health. Do I need to create a separate Tidelands Health MyChart account?

No, you don’t. Because Tidelands Health collaborates with MUSC Health, you’ll use your existing MUSC Health MyChart username and password to access your Tidelands Health MyChart account – no new username and password needed! You can access Tidelands Health MyChart via the My Tidelands Health app or on our website by clicking here.

I don’t have an MUSC Health MyChart account. How do I create a Tidelands Health MyChart account?

If you don’t have a MUSC Health MyChart account, you’ll need to set up a Tidelands Health MyChart username and password. You can set up your MyChart account via the My Tidelands Health app or on our website by clicking here.

Can I schedule an appointment in the My Tidelands Health app?

Yes. You can schedule an appointment for many of our services via the My Tidelands Health app featuring MyChart. You will also be able to schedule an appointment on our website. Note that online scheduling is not available for all specialties.

Do I need a username and password for the My Tidelands Health app?

No. The My Tidelands Health app is free and does not require a username or password to access many of its features. However, a MyChart account is required to access some functionality that is part of the MyChart platform.

I want to access my medical records. How can I do that?

You can easily access your medical records in MyChart via the My Tidelands Health app or via our website, tidelandshealth.org. We are migrating your past three years of lab results and past five years of imaging results to MyChart. (Note: Lab and imaging results for the period of Jan. 1-March 1 will not be visible in MyChart until April 30.)

If you need access to medical records not available in MyChart, you can always request them online, via mail or via fax. Find more information on requesting medical records by clicking here.

Will my username and password from the previous Tidelands Health patient portals work to access Tidelands Health MyChart?

No, MyChart has replaced our previous patient portals. If you already have an MUSC Health MyChart account, you’ll use your MUSC Health MyChart username and password to access your Tidelands Health MyChart account. If you don’t have a MUSC Health MyChart account, you’ll need to set up a Tidelands Health MyChart username and password. I’m trying to create an account to access MyChart via the My Tidelands Health app or tidelandshealth.org, and I’m receiving a message an account with that email already exists. How can that be?

As an affiliate of MUSC Health, our Tidelands Health MyChart platform is connected to the MUSC Health MyChart platform. If you already have an MUSC Health MyChart account, you’ll use your MUSC Health MyChart username and password to access your Tidelands Health MyChart account.

I already have the MyChart app on my phone. Can I access Tidelands Health MyChart in the MyChart app?

Yes, you can. You can use either the My Tidelands Health app or the MyChart app to access MyChart functionality. Keep in mind -- the My Tidelands Health app also offers additional features not found in the MyChart app, including a searchable provider directory, turn-by-turn directions to our locations, access to virtual visits and more.

Why aren't all my medications showing in MyChart?

For the safety of our patients, we are reviewing and reconciling each patient’s medication list as part of our transition to Epic. This work is ongoing, and your medications will appear in MyChart once they’ve been reconciled. If you need a refill on a specific medication, please contact your physician’s office for assistance.
