Tidelands Health offers additional resources to help community learn about and prepare for coronavirus
Tidelands Health is offering free, downloadable fliers with helpful guidance and prevention tips about COVID-19 coronavirus to help residents and guide preparations in the community.
The health system has developed a series of handy, one-page guides with tips, resources and other helpful information about COVID-19 coronavirus and how residents can protect themselves. Each flier is tailored to fit the needs of specific groups, including the overall community, businesses and faith-based organizations.
The fliers, available in the coronavirus information center at tidelandshealth.org, are designed for groups to download, print and distribute.
“We encourage local residents and organizations to utilize these informative fliers to help educate our community and prevent the spread of coronavirus,” said Ashley Capps, associate vice president of nursing operations at Tidelands Health. “As our region’s largest health care provider, Tidelands Health is committed to keeping our community members informed about coronavirus and educated on how to protect themselves.”
The fliers are part of a comprehensive strategy at Tidelands Health to provide helpful coronavirus resources to the community.
The health system has developed a coronavirus information center at tidelandshealth.org to provide residents with important information about the prevention, symptoms and treatment of COVID-19 coronavirus, as well as how individuals can find help.
Tidelands Health also has launched billboards in the community and signage in care locations promoting the benefits of proper hand hygiene.
And community members can get their specific questions answered by a Tidelands Health physician during a phone bank Wednesday. Tidelands Health has teamed with WBTW News13 to sponsor the phone bank Wednesday, March 11, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. The phone bank call-in numbers will be visible on screen throughout the 5, 5:30 and 6 p.m. newscasts on WBTW.
