Board-certified vascular surgeon joins Tidelands Health
A board-certified vascular surgeon with more than 20 years of experience has joined Tidelands Health and is accepting new patients.
Dr. Amy Reed diagnoses and treats a variety of vascular conditions including carotid artery disease, aortic and peripheral aneurysms, hemodialysis access, peripheral arterial disease, venous conditions and more. She performs procedures including stenting, bypasses, angioplasty and other interventions.
Dr. Reed sees patients at three Tidelands Health Vascular Surgery locations: 4040 Highway 17 South in Murrells Inlet, 1014 Huger Drive in Georgetown and 2200 Crow Lane at The Market Common in Myrtle Beach.
Dr. Reed earned her medical degree from the University of Wisconsin Medical School and completed a residency in general surgery at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, a teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School. She completed fellowships in vascular surgery at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and in venous surgery at Mayo Clinic.
Dr. Reed is certified in vascular surgery by the American Board of Surgery.
