Tidelands Health Safety and Security
Tidelands Health is committed to providing a safe and accessible environment of care for each of our patients, visitors and personnel.
When you visit our hospitals, please go first to the welcome desk/security desk near the main entrance. You will be asked to provide the name of the patient you are visiting and will be given a visitor badge to wear during your visit.
Security
Security personnel are on duty at each hospital campus to provide any special assistance you may need. Also, there are emergency call buttons in each hospital parking lot that may be pushed for emergency assistance.
All employee, volunteer and physician partners of Tidelands Health are required to wear photo identification badges to include their name and the name of their department.
Tobacco-Free Facilities
All Tidelands Health facilities are tobacco free. There is no smoking or tobacco product use allowed in any Tidelands Health building or on Tidelands Health property. Patients, visitors, employee, physician and volunteer partners and all members of the public are prohibited from smoking inside or outside of any Tidelands Health facility.
